[14.27] PBP pitching inconsistencies

I've noticed the following issues coming up since upgrading (from 14.14 to 14.27):

1. Some foul balls are not be recorded as 1st or 2nd strikes. I've seen pitching results such as (in order) Ball, Strike, Foul, Ball, Ball, Strike, Ball = Walk. Results like this seem pretty frequent now that the game actually shows the full pitch results for Manager Mode (sometimes multiple AB per inning), and this probably has an appreciable impact on how quickly a starting pitcher reaches a number of pitches where he begins getting tired. I've often thought that the pitch counts in Manager mode seemed high, I would bet that this is why, if the pitch counts have always had this problem even before they were being shown.

2. Some last pitches are completely different from the result. For example, I've seen the "In Play" with the green marker result in a strikeout. In this case, the animation usually matches the printed result, with the pitch count result being the one that's different. However, I think I also remember times when the animation matched the pitch result and it was the printed text result that was the outlier.

Here's the screenshot I should have had in the first post... 4-strike out. One of the foul balls was not recorded as a strike. This kind of thing happens many times each game.

And here's an example of the pitch count not matching up with the AB result. Note that the last pitch was a foul, there was no green "In Play", but it says the batter grounded out. Additionally, the graphical animation was completely skipped. It showed the stolen base, and then Foxx immediately skipped over to 3rd with no pitch or swing shown, and the batter out (on a ground-out somehow).

Ahaha... just had the worst one yet. Went for suicide squeeze, got 3 balls & 2 strikes (no "in play"), resulting in a fly out to right field!

Yeah, so Manager Mode is pretty much completely unplayable right now. Gonna be playing in Player Mode until this is fixed (hopefully next version, I'd say this bug is as critical as it can get, aside from accidentally deleting your game).

Hopefully my last time bumping this thread... just wanted to update to say that Player Mode is buggered too! I haven't seen it happen as often, but check this out. Rogers Hornsby struck out on 1 strike! It's definitely not just a problem of the game failing to display the pitches correctly (something I had suspected with the previously mentioned problems in Manager Mode) because the pitcher did throw only one pitch in Player Mode.
