    2013 Hall of Fame Ballot

Thanks to the BBWAA's stupid voting patterns, there's many HoF caliber players on this year's ballot.

I had to leave off a couple names due to the 35 option limit for polls (Woody Williams, Rondell White).

13 players on the ballot are deserving Hall of Famers, in my opinion. If I had a ballot, it would be:

    1) Alan Trammell
    2) Barry Bonds
    3) Craig Biggio
    4) Curt Schilling
    5) Jeff Bagwell
    6) Mark McGwire
    7) Mike Piazza
    8) Roger Clemens
    9) Sammy Sosa
    10) Tim Raines

I would leave off Rafael Palmeiro, Edgar Martinez, and Larry Walker, but would vote for them if there was more space on the ballot.

Better longevity, more well-rounded skill set, higher career WAR.

I'm pretty much a sucker for 3K hits, too. Moreso than 500 homers.

That pretty much matches my ballot, except that I voted Palmeiro and Martinez instead of Schilling and Sosa. There are at least half a dozen other guys on the list who I would normally take a closer look at to see if I think they're deserving, but there was no reason to this year, as they clearly weren't among the top 10 candidates.
